How To Use Sigils To Manifest
A few beginner-friendly methods
What Is A Sigil?
Sigils are artistically crafted symbols imbued with the magic power of meaning and intention. Words are similar: a few squiggles of ink on a page — “cow,” for example — can make the animal’s image appear in your mind.
Mental images, mental content in general, influence the flow of your mind. In Hinduism, cows are thought to be sacred, representing divine peace and charity. So thoughts and images about cows carry that vibration.
The quality of your life depends on your mental-spiritual habits. If you want to feel a particular feeling more often, or keep your energies focused on a particular goal, then steep yourself in symbols that trigger and amplify those energies.
Sigils are a simple and excellent way to do that.
In the next section I’ll describe a couple styles of how to use sigils, and after that I’ll explain how to make them.
Two Beginner-Friendly Ways To Use Sigils
If you want to remember something, or remain connected to some energy, then this first sigil strategy is for you.
Make your sigil on a notecard, and place it somewhere you will see throughout your day. Put it on an empty spot of your kitchen counter, tape it to the door at eye level, set it beside your keyboard at work.
Then, every time you look at it, even briefly in passing, the sigil’s meaning and intention will enter into your mind. Like waves washing over stone, it will slowly carve a new mental habit.
Even better, take an occasional moment to meditate, with eyes open, on the sigil. All magic is the result of intentional, focused consciousness.
The second method is a burning ritual. This strategy is better if you want to use your sigil for forgiving, forgetting, letting go of something, or planting an intention into the subconscious.
Make your sigil on paper, and then make a meditative performance for yourself of burning it. The more dramatic, and the more focused you are during the ritual, the more effective it will be.
