Very detailed, great article. Extreme tolerance is definitely a dangerous concept. Nietzsche said happiness requires a yea and a nay. Something to move towards, and something to move away from. Otherwise it's just meaningless chaos.

I'd say tolerance is definitely involved and important. The sinner needs to feel safe if he is to receive instruction.
