Very cool poem! In college, I was a lukewarm Christian, and then read Ayn Rand and turned atheist for a while, and then I heard Jordan Peterson and that sent me on some weird path to a much more undefined belief system. Nowadays I play atheist to the religious types and I play religious to the atheist types in hopes of learning or growing their beliefs. I like that you mention life as the important thing that God would want to protect.
