Starlight

A Poem

What makes the trumpet
Sound other than the strings
The same thing
That makes stars different
I saw it in a dream

Waves and vibrations
Passing all around me
Different combinations
Of pleasant frequencies

At first I heard a song
And as I looked behind
I was standing ‘fore the sun
Pulsing, rhythmic light

If you liked this poem, here’s a few more.

Also, I have a small poetry chapbook available here.
