Serpent’s Wisdom

A poem

Should you fall into a nest of snakes
Be sure to ask them for their wisdom
The suffering pit is often misinterpreted
Serpents there serve only as guardians
Dark shadows to protect deep secrets
Like truth and lies and ancient medicine
And how to speak in magic
