I love everything about this article. It blew my mind the entire time.

I was really into Rand in college, discovered Peterson who introduced me to Nietzsche, and now this is a wonderful next phase for me to explore, thank you.

One thing you hinted at really stood out to me: what if friction and suffering are the cost of creativity and sentience? Chills.

The idea of some people living hellish suffering lives is my number one philosophical problem with God. To me, so far, the only way he could exist is if he were a part of our finiteness. I like how Jordan Peterson frames God — as the emergent meta-consciousness of humanity. But that one would be stuck in this reality with us, not the first cause.

The above are my mind’s ramblings of trying to make sense of these giant concepts. This article was absolute gold in relation to continuing the development of these thoughts. Again, thanks!

I still feel a little uneasy thinking about actually saying “MY will be done” with confidence. Is there a lightning bolt waiting to strike me down somewhere?
