I like the rhyming detail (like the repeated P words of Plagued and Persists) and the shifting images (night into its opposite of day. I like contrasted ideas like that) and how the final imagery ends strong with an unexpected ghost :)

In general in poetry (and music and art) I really like neatly contrasting ideas put together in interesting ways. Like in music structure where each section of music contrasts a bit with the next and stuff
