God has historically been considered masculine, just because men had more muscles to enforce their ideas in their own image. Women were kind of forced to deal with kids. Nowadays it's entering the public mind that perhaps, as Arianna Grande suggests, God might be a woman. Now that they are more free to have their own way in the modern liberal age.

I suppose I use male pronouns for God just out of habit. That's what I was taught, and that's what most people I interact with expect to hear. You clearly see the uprising of feminine energy in the world today.

Really though, I believe God has both masculine and feminine qualities. "He" does not have a gender, he is not a body. I believe God is love.
