Fable of The Forest Spring
A short poem with a subtle moral
1 min readAug 5, 2020
The dark forest held a spring of magic water
Which did threaten to drown the land
By the light of a raven’s feather
And ink of that same magic
I drew for that spring, now river
A new path
And all the forest grew more lively
By the trees which sip from magic streams
Of all the things which glow with power
Direct their energies
