Beautiful imagery (and soundscape!) in this poem. I'm glad you're into meditation! I'm a beginner at that and I've definitely found that on days where I've been regularly meditating, I feel so much more calm and in control. Instead of my heart, I've been focusing on my breathing, trying to take big deep slow breaths that emphasize the outbreath. It helps! Loved your poem!
